I truly believe pictures tell stories, and here is Miss Jaylee's story in the words of her sweet mama: "Happy first birthday to our little miracle, Jaylee Jo. Life as we knew it changed a year ago when she was born 11 weeks early, at 2 lbs 14 oz and 15 inches long! 76 days in the NICU and some bumps along the way, but she has stayed healthy and serves up laughs and smiles on a daily basis. She is now 26 inches tall and 15 lbs 11 ounces. She continues with therapy for feeding issues and although she gets her nutrition through her feeding tube, she is starting to drink more through a sippy cup and is at least trying tastes of food without gagging and spitting up. She is crawling and starting to pull herself up on things. She loves toys that make noise, music, Mickey Mouse, her brother and sisters, her cousins and grandparents, and doing things her own way and in her own time! Just love this little girl!"
